Reconveyance
Overview of Reconveyance
A "Reconveyance" is a document that removes the lien that a lender placed against the property. The lien that is removed is called a Deed of Trust. The reconveyance will show that the Deed of Trust and Promissory Note has been fully paid and satisfied. The reconveyance will release any security interest that is held by the lender.
Only the lender or trustee can execute a Reconveyance. If you are the lender, we can act as your trustee and file your reconveyance. This will first require a Substitution of Trustee to appoint My Legal Depot as your trustee.
Preparing a Reconveyance can be time consuming and expensive. We will prepare your Reconveyance and file your documents with the County Recorder. Let us prepare and file your Reconveyance promptly and accurately at a fraction of the cost of an attorney.
