Special Note
Effective January 1, 2018, the State of California passed Senate Bill 2 that increases the filing fees by an “additional $75.00” per title of the document (a Deed of Trust typically uses 2 titles, this increasing the filing fees by an additional $150.00). Due to the filing fee increase, the total cost for a Deed of Trust has been increased to account for the additional filing fees charged by the government.
