Promissory Note
Overview for Promissory Note
A "promissory note" is a written contract in which the borrower promises to repay a loan. The promissory note sets forth the terms and conditions that apply to the loan repayment, such as interest rate, when payments are due, and where payments are made.
Preparing a promissory note can be time consuming and expensive. My Legal Depot has registered Legal Document Assistants (LDAs) that have experience in preparing thousands of legal documents. Let us prepare your promissory note promptly and accurately at a fraction of the cost of an attorney.
We only prepare promissory notes that use real estate as collateral. The promissory note is usually processed along with a Short Form Deed of Trust which will secure the property as collateral for the loan.
